{"product_id":"betula-pendula-royal-frost-purple-birch-plant-in-1-l-pot","title":"Betula pendula Royal Frost - Purple Birch - Plant in 1 L Pot","description":"Betula pendula are native to much of Europe. Betula pendula Royal Frost was raised in 2006 as a cross between Betula Whitespire and Betula Crimson Frost. Royal Frost is a rather special tree with an attractive pyramidal shape, gently pendulous branches, yellow catkins in spring and white bark that contrasts wonderfully with the large, dense, deep purple leaves that turn a lovely orange red in autumn. Altogether a very graceful and beautiful tree. Royal Frost can only be reliably reproduced by vegetative propagation. These plants are cutting raised. This plant can be used in a mixed planting or as a stand alone specimen in the garden or can easily be grown in a pot or other container. Use a good quality compost. Ensure you feed regularly as a hungry plant is a poor performer. We recommend Osmoscote pro 8-9 month applied in the early spring. One application gives all the nutrients the plant requires. This listing is for well established plants approximately 40 to 60cm tall excluding the pot.\u003cbr\u003e\n","brand":"Hortus Planta","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":59213444874504,"sku":"GH0000159X","price":18.95,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1073\/8434\/0744\/files\/615T6vALgdL.jpg?v=1792853894","url":"https:\/\/plantdepot.co.uk\/products\/betula-pendula-royal-frost-purple-birch-plant-in-1-l-pot","provider":"Plant Depot Ltd","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
